Prepare your phone before crossing a border.
Check every destination
A European trip can cross several networks and pricing zones. Do not assume that a service available in one country includes its neighbours, islands or overseas territories. Confirm each stop on your itinerary.
Keep your usual line under control
Using a second SIM does not automatically stop your original line from roaming. Review which line is selected for mobile data, calls and messages, and check the roaming settings for each.
Plan for setup
Install only according to the supplied activation instructions. Some plans start their validity at purchase or installation, while others start on first connection. Confirm the actual rule for the plan you choose.
Retain an alternative
Keep trusted Wi-Fi or another working connection available while setting up. Store private installation and recovery details securely instead of sharing screenshots.
